On Friday, Sept. 25, the third annual UNC School of Law Alumni Association Golf Classic brought together 75 alumni and 17 students for a great cause at UNC’s Finley Golf Course. The Golf Classic raised more than $30,000 in support of law student scholarships.
“Our alumni volunteers work tremendously hard year-round to make this event a great time for all, and most importantly, to provide much-needed scholarship assistance,” said Louise Harris, regional director of advancement, at the 19th Hole Reception. “The students here today represent the true meaning of why we host the Classic.”
Financial support from alumni is critical to Carolina Law’s commitment to remain a truly public law school. Tuition for fall 2013 now exceeds $22,000 for in-state students. The event has enjoyed success thanks to the dedication and financial support of sponsors and committee members listed below.
